Abstract

This module proposes a temporary bridge insurance benefit so that workers between jobs can maintain their health coverage.

Description

One in five uninsured Americans lacks coverage because they are in between jobs. A bridge insurance benefit provides a temporary, cost-effective measure to help pay for health insurance when people are in transition. This module lays out the problem, outlines how to respond and provides suggestions to roll out your plan to the public.
